I've had a lot of trouble with the Amegy Bank app in the past, but the developers have fixed everything I complained about. When I first got my iPhone Xs, I was a little concerned that the absence of a "FaceID" setting would prevent me from using the facial recognition feature, but I've found that the "Touch ID" switch still allows for reliable authentication. The developers may have missed a word there, but other than that, everything works as intended. Great app

While I appreciate the new design, I find that 1) I can no longer see the vendor/name in my list of transactions with a single glance without clicking the detail Whenever I make a purchase, all I see is a string of numbers and letters; I have to click "detail" to find out why I was charged so much. Second, when I exit a transaction's details, the app returns me to the beginning of the list of transactions, and I have to scroll back up to the point where I was working. This is a major pain if you need to look up a transaction that happened a few weeks ago. When you exited the prior app, you were taken back to the previous screen. Thirdly, when I transfer money, my account balance doesn't update immediately. There was a time when the balance would be updated instantly. Now, I either have to wait for the app to refresh the balance or log out and back in. Third, transferring money takes more effort and time, and it must be confirmed multiple times. I frequently move money from one account to another, and I often misjudge whether or not the transfer was successful because I didn't click the final "submit," "ok," or "done" buttons.

I want to revert to the previous version of the app

I use the app all the time to check my balance and deposit checks, and I love it. But the app's bill-paying functionality is useless, so it could just as well be left out. You can view who you have listed as a payee, but not when payments are due (even if bank statements are sent to you), the amount due, what was paid or received, etc. Some of my monthly payments are automatically deducted from my Amegy account. It's rare that I encounter a paper invoice. When I don't access my account via a web browser, I don't realize that these charges are "due." This is so maddening. I've been tardy before and assumed it was okay because I'd been using the app instead of a browser. What a jerk, Amegy.
