Deposit and Hold Policies of TD Bank

*Cash deposits made at a TD Bank ATM on the day your account is opened will not be accessible until the business day following your deposit date.

1If you make a deposit on a Saturday, Sunday, or a federal holiday, please add an additional business day when estimating when your funds will be available. If you deposit funds on a business day followed by a Saturday, Sunday, or a federal holiday, your funds may still be made available on the following day.

2In certain circumstances, deposits made by check may be delayed for a longer period than our standard funds availability. If you deposit checks totaling more than $5,525 in one day, the first $100 will be immediately accessible. An additional $5,425 will be available no later than the business day following the deposit date, and the remaining amount may be held for up to seven (7) business days from the deposit date. If we suspect that a check may be uncollectible, the entire amount of the check may be held for up to seven (7) business days from the deposit date. This hold supersedes any prior availability provided, including the initial $100 given on the deposit date. For further details, please refer to the Funds Availability Section of the Personal Deposit Account Agreement.

3Send Money with Zelle® is accessible for most personal checking and money market accounts. To utilize Send Money with Zelle®, it is mandatory to have an online banking profile with a U.S. address, a unique U.S. mobile number, a distinct active email address, and a Social Security Number. Your eligible personal deposit account must be active and enabled for ACH transactions and online banking transfers. For prompt money delivery within minutes, a TD Bank Visa® Debit Card is required. Data and message charges may apply, please check with your wireless carrier.

External transfer services are available for most personal checking, money market, and savings accounts. To utilize these services, you must possess an online banking profile with a U.S. address, a unique U.S. phone number, and an active distinct email address. Your eligible personal deposit account must be active and enabled for ACH transactions and online banking transfers. Internal and external transfers are free.

To utilize Send Money with Zelle®, a bank account in the U.S. is mandatory. Transactions typically occur within minutes if the recipient's email address or U.S. mobile number is already enrolled with Zelle®. Certain transaction limitations apply.

4Deposits made with Zelle® after 10:30 p.m. ET may temporarily increase your account balance. However, deposits made after 10:30 p.m. ET will be considered deposited on the next business day.
