The app suffers from frustratingly long loading times, hampers quick navigation through accounts, sluggishly processes mobile deposits, and overall operates at an unacceptably slow pace. It's a genuine irritation to use my online banking account in conjunction with the app. The most bothersome aspect is the requirement to press multiple buttons just to log in. I don't want the reminder every time I log in, and I intentionally opt out of using fingerprint access. I don't appreciate Ameris continually attempting to set it up whenever I access my accounts.

This application is absolutely dreadful and lacks any semblance of user-friendliness! I was forced to uninstall the previous version 4 and reinstall version 5 because the app failed to update on my mobile phone. When attempting to make a mobile deposit, I encountered extreme difficulty in locating the appropriate section within the app. Only after much searching did I manage to find where to perform the mobile deposit. However, upon submitting the deposit, I did not see any indication of a 'pending' submission for the deposited amount within the mobile app. Strangely enough, when I checked the desktop version, the pending amount deposited was immediately visible. I am left perplexed as to why recently deposited items are inaccessible for viewing or confirmation on the mobile app, yet readily available on the desktop version. The developers of this mobile app urgently need to incorporate a "Pending Deposits" or "Deposit History" section into the mobile app. This would allow users to see precisely what has been recently deposited, just as we are able to do with the desktop version. Additionally, the developers must enhance the overall navigability of the app and provide more detailed sections within its framework. This would greatly assist users in determining their required navigation. As an individual who utilizes both SunTrust and Ameris Banks, I can wholeheartedly testify that the SunTrust app surpasses the Ameris app in terms of user-friendliness and navigability. I sincerely hope that the developers take note of this feedback and implement significant improvements to the Ameris app in the near future!

Upon entering my login credentials, instead of accessing the app, I am redirected to what seems like the setup process for a NEW mobile account. It inexplicably prompts me for an email address, leaving me with no option other than to input one or close the app entirely. Frustratingly, it then promptly displays an error message stating, "That email has already been used." Of course it has, because it is MY email and I have already created an account and provided my login information. Yet, the app continuously insists that my sole alternative is to establish a fresh account.

This exasperating experience repeats itself every single time. One would assume that after five months, the developers would have addressed and resolved this issue, enabling people to once again utilize the app following the merger. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it three times to no avail. It stubbornly persists in perpetuating the same infuriating cycle. I am now seriously considering switching banks solely to regain the ability to engage in mobile banking and conduct mobile deposits, just as I previously did with Fidelity without encountering any issues whatsoever. Why not simply rectify this glitch once and for all?
